Hi Torrey, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started out as a licensed esthetician working for franchises or medspa’s. Eventually, after gaining years of knowledge and expertise, I decided I needed to open up my own business. This resulted in the best decision I’ve ever made!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all. Being a first-time business owner is extremely difficult! Especially when you don’t exactly know what you need until you’re put in the position of it. On top of not only handling the business aspect of SkinRehab; I was also enrolled in nursing school. Luckily, I was able to quickly get the hang of things.

The risk I took was leaving a secure employee-based job for a curated business of my own. Especially when you start from scratch, the risk is extreme. But I’m so grateful that I believed in myself, and I truly achieved the business of my dreams!
