We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: When was the last time you felt true joy?
The last time I felt true joy was being on stage in England. It was my first time performing internationally and the crowd was very warm and receptive.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is pronounced NAA LOW VENJE. I was born and raised in Queens, NY.
I started performing at 12yrs old. I taught myself how to produce music. I play drums and bass and other percussion instruments.
Both of my parents are deceased.
I was in the Navy.
I have lived in 7 different states.
My first professional contract was with MTV as a music producer and sound designer.
I have toured, performed and/or worked with AZ, Jill Jones, Foxy Brown, Lil Kim, Jerome Benton, Wu-Tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, Suga Free, Prince, SPK, Jermaine Jackson, Brent Carter, Freedom Williams, Royal Flush, Baby Paul, D/R Period, Shampoo (Def Jam), Owen Husney, and more.
Boxers: Vivian Harris, Tiger Martinez, Andrew (6 heads) Lewis, Mike Tyson, Iran Barkley, Arturo Gatti, Diego Chico Corrales. and others
I now live in Oceanside, North County San Diego, California
I have released 3 solo albums, 4 Group Projects and over 50 singles
I have produced music for several movies and television shows, commercials and podcasts ie: Bridezilla, Catfish, Millionaire Matchmaker, Bel Air, Grand Crew, Fast and Furious, Never Walk Alone, X-Men, A Ripple in Time, and many more.
I am currently finishing up my next album THE SOUNDTRACK
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I used to be a very naive, trusting, soft and gullible person. But then heartbreak, betrayal, and the hard streets of Queens NY got to me and I the world taught me that I had to protect myself because I was by myself and there was no one coming to save me and there was no one to run to. I learned to observe people before I trusted, I learned that jealousy and envy were very prevalent emotions and they drove people to do horrible things. I learned that it didn’t have to be any fault of my own, there are just very bad people in the world and I have to be guarded at all times. Friends, family and strangers will do the unthinkable if they think that they’ll get away with it. The world taught me and told me that to be a star, to be special comes with a lot of pain so I have to be good to myself. I have to be smart, sharp, keep my own council and love myself. I have to be strong, have integrity, and always be on point. I have to be the best I can be!
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Believe in and, love yourself and know that you are a good person. Protect the goodness in your heart from the ills of the world, you are going to be great, never give up!
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, for the most part I am always myself. There are personal things and beliefs that I keep to myself but, I always am the authentic me, no matter what situation I’m in or where I am.

Absolutely! I workout alone, I create music alone and I have done both without any praise or assurance. I give everything I have until I’m satisfied and I have always done this. Sometimes I still get surprised by the praise from others because I would do what I do if I were on an island all alone.
