We’re looking forward to introducing you to Jenna Miller. Check out our conversation below.
Jenna, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Integrity is everything. When I’m out of alignment with myself, my energy tanks. And intelligence is important, but there will always be room to learn and grow- integrity directs intelligence.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Jenna, a holistic nutritionist and yoga teacher who helps women restore their energy, digestion, and sense of peace. My work blends yoga, herbs, and personalized nutrition because healing isn’t just about what you eat, it’s about how your whole system feels and functions.
I started this work after my own experience with chronic gut issues and exhaustion from years of overworking and pushing through my body’s cues. What makes my approach unique is that it’s not about restriction or perfection, it’s about learning how to tune back in, support your body’s natural rhythms, and build real resilience.
Right now, I’m actively engaged in teaching women how stress and digestion are deeply connected. Through my 1:1 programs and workshops, I help people calm their nervous systems, make peace with food, and finally feel at home in their bodies again.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
My dad was a farmer for 40+ years. He worked 7 days a week, 51 weeks a year and never complained about it. He lived the old adage that if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. No one has been a stronger supporter of my dreams or had a bigger impact in the way I view work. I don’t work the same endless schedule he did, but I do remind myself often how fortunate I am to do work I enjoy.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me how capable I am. There was a long phase where I rebuilt my business from scratch (then re-rebuilt after Covid!), and it seemed like I would never find my footing. During those years, I really got to see what I’m made of, what matters to me and where I’m not willing to compromise- not in my business, my health or my values. I don’t ever want to revisit that phase of life, but I’m glad it polished me into gold!
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. How do you differentiate between fads and real foundational shifts?
It all comes back to nature. I’ll be the first to admit- I love a trending wellness product! But whether it’s a specific diet, a probiotic powder for gut health or GLP1s… there’s always a “quick fix” mentality behind it. These products are great at getting folks to think about their health in new ways. But they gloss over the deeper workings of human physiology and our interconnection with nature. The human body is incredible, and understanding all the ways it comes together to make you YOU, is more powerful than any fad.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I’d stop my habit of trying to plan everything 10 years out… and let life unfold worry-free.
