We recently had the chance to connect with Juliette Jurcak and have shared our conversation below.
Juliette, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is a normal day like for you right now?
There is no “normal day” for wedding planners! My days without rehearsals and weddings consist of a ton of emails, inquiry calls, planning meetings, contract reviews, social media planning, venue visits, and so much more. With weddings happening year-round, I’m constantly at a different stage with each of my couples – and I love it!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’d love to introduce myself! My name is Juliette Jurcak and I have been a wedding planner and coordinator for 4 years. I have planned weddings all throughout Southern California – from mansions in Beverly Hills to beaches and breweries in San Diego. With LOVER, I designed a planning process that is custom to each couple and centered in their love. Every detail of their day is meticulously planned to represent the couple and their true preferences in celebrating their wedding day and start to their marriage.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My husband, Leo, has truly shaped me into the person I am today. Leo has shown me unwavering love and support with everything I do. He knows I have always had big dreams, and jump feet first, all-in, without hesitation, and he is right there with me. He shows me support every day and never lets me question myself, my dreams, and the journey we’re on together.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could tell little Juliette anything, it would be to embrace everything with love and confidence. She has an amazing family to support her, she will meet a true, great love, and she will get to experience the best adventure following her dreams. I would tell her to keep her faith in God strong and to continue to look for the path created for her.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
LOVER is both my passion and my commitment. I trusted that I could start my own business and am already amazed at where it’s taken me. Being self-employed is a risk, however I’m so committed to continuing to put in the work and heart needed to take LOVER to my biggest of dreams, and beyond.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What will you regret not doing?
I live my life with no regrets! With every decision I make, I try my best to stay true to myself and my faith, and I feel comfort in knowing I made the decision I thought was best at the time.
