We’re looking forward to introducing you to Liz Hahn. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Liz, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: Who are you learning from right now?
A few years ago, I joined Pinnacle Global Network, a business mentoring community led by Allison Maslan, who was actually my business coach back in 2010. Pinnacle is a powerful network of several hundred CEOs, all focused on scaling their companies from six to nine figures. We are learning from each other along the way.
Through this community, I’ve gained priceless insights from both the mentors and my fellow CEOs. In just a few short years, I’ve doubled my team, doubled profits, and successfully scaled my nationwide entertainment agency while staying profitable and keeping myself on payroll. It’s been an empowering journey, and a full-circle moment to learn again from Allison and her incredible team.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Liz Hahn, Founder and CEO of San Diego Bachelor Party, Bad Girl Productions, and Bad Boy Strip, companies dedicated to creating tailored, high-energy party experiences with top-tier talent.
With over 30 years in the entertainment industry, I’ve built my career around bringing people together through laughter, sexiness, and connection. San Diego Bachelor Party specializes in unforgettable celebrations, from bachelor and birthday parties to themed mansion events and coed holiday gatherings. Our stunning entertainers, charismatic bartenders, and playful Pool Party Girls turn every event into a one-of-a-kind experience.
What sets us apart is our personalized booking process. Clients receive a curated portfolio of San Diego’s best entertainers and can handpick their favorites to match the vibe and size of their group. Every detail is customized to create an event that’s polished, fun, and just the right amount of naughty.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who taught you the most about work?
I grew up in a Midwest family full of scientists, and their dedication to their projects and inventions is in my DNA. I watched them approach everything with curiosity, precision, and persistence. That mindset shaped how I approach business today.
To me, building a business is a form of science. It’s about testing, observing, adjusting, and constantly innovating. My family taught me that great work isn’t luck or talent. To succeed, it’s experimentation, discipline, and the courage to keep refining until it works. That’s exactly how I’ve built every company I’ve ever owned.
When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
I grew up in the countryside near Malibu, surrounded by open hills, creeks, and endless places to explore. Whenever I felt sad or scared, I’d go hiking through the hills or wander down to Malibu Creek to play in the water. There were wild horses, sheep, and cows roaming nearby. I made adventure and nature my escape.
In my backyard, there was a tall pine tree where I built a little fort. Whenever life felt too big, I’d climb up, hide out in my fort, and just listen to the wind moving through the branches. To this day, the sound of wind through the pines is still the most calming thing I know. It’s my reminder that peace is something you can always return to, no matter how chaotic life gets.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I believe that we all have access to cosmic consciousness. It is a universal stream of wisdom that connects us to every thought, idea, and insight that has ever existed. When we sit in silence and open ourselves up, I think we can tap into that frequency and download knowledge that doesn’t necessarily come from us, but through us.
For example, my father passed away a few years ago, but I still feel his presence when I’m seeking clarity. He was a chemical engineer, astrophysicist, pilot, and artist, a brilliant mind in every sense. Now, when I need guidance, I feel like I can reach into that same cosmic field and tap into his energy, his intellect, and his creativity.
To me, that’s what cosmic consciousness is: an invisible thread that keeps us connected to those we’ve loved, to the wisdom of our ancestors, and to the infinite intelligence that surrounds us all. Yet, we still cannot prove it exists.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I know I’ve hired the right people. There’s a deep calm that comes from surrounding yourself with capable, aligned individuals who believe in your vision and carry it forward with pride. As I continue stepping back from the day-to-day and placing powerful leaders in key roles, I can finally breathe.
Peace, for me, is sitting in the backyard of my lake house, overlooking the boat and the still water, knowing that my company is thriving. I’ve built a strong team to build and work towards my Big Picture Vision. That’s when I feel a true sense of ease and gratitude.
