Hi Mandy, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Something outside of work that is bringing me a lot of joy lately is sharing intentional time with my loved ones intentionally prioritizing and setting time aside to share time together… from my cats pouring loving into them , to my new and recent fiancé, sharing quality time and intentional time together; intentional moments. Sharing quality & intentional time with my daughter, creating healthy habits( gym, walks, Mommy daughter dates) with her and instilling beautiful moments and foundations together. And firstly in my life recently also is sharing intentional time with God First, tuning in to his overflowing abundance of love, JOY, comfort, protection, courage, peace and his purpose, allowing him to lead my journey through trust & faith; being more intentional with communicating in prayer, and receiving his love, and the infinite amount of blessings through Yah-weh.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I am Mandy Red! I am born and raised from Dallas Texas. I am an independent recording artist. I do mainly roots of Latin music, but I make sure I don’t put myself in a box, so I have many other elements that I believe are a part of me and create a unique mix from anywhere from Mariah Carey type music to country and Caribbean type vibes and R&B, you can find elements from all types of music in my music. Check it out I promise you will find some thing that you vibe with! I believe we are multi dimensional beings, and not putting myself in a box, creating from and embracing all of me to create that unique blend of me, fully expressed an in turn, birthing “Mandy Red Music”! I believe music has its own language and we all speak vibration and vibes rhythm and frequency, I believe it’s what brings us all together. What makes my brand special and unique is that I use it as a foundation to spread, love, positivity and embracing our full selves; to promote what happens when you put faith Into something, by living it and sharing the results by going Through the “battles”, so basically by example; that if I can do it, you can do it too even if we have battles/challenges in our lives. A message I like to share is “If you can see it in your mind, you can hold it in your hand.” I am living proof of that everyday! I want to spread that message to as many people as possible that we have the power to create our desired reality through faith and tuning into your hearts. I think it’s a unique intention to my brand.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that has served its purpose, and I feel now must be released is the belief that I have to do everything alone that I have to manage everything by myself! So growing my team & community so we can expand out worldwide to share all of this into the world to make it a better place honestly;trusting and having faith in God. I have recently been understanding the importance of community! …releasing that old belief, and understanding/innerstanding that I don’t have to do it all alone that God is always working, even if it doesn’t seem like it on the surface all the time. I am practicing my new beliefs and awareness of Tuning into my faith & working through him, innerstanding that through him & staying in tune with my heart that I am connected to him, & that we are All One!
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
Well, first of all, I want to say this interview has tears down my face and I feel like I am healing along all of this… when I decided to stop hiding my pain and to start using it as power was a few years back when I woke up to the realization that I am not the only one going through pain and I was healing so around 2020 or 2021. I started learning how to cope with my pain and challenges in life and started to share what had helped me on my journey, even if it was uncomfortable, (I feel like we have been trained to make it look like everything is going great all the time in our lives) I wouldn’t go into much detail on specifics. I would mostly just generalize it into “mental health”,not anything specific until a few months back, I was going through a challenging period with my mental health and so I felt mentally cornered and hopeless on life all together.. I shared my truth and it seem to unlock something, as uncomfortable as it was.. I decided to not let it isolate myself. Something told me to share my truth. I didn’t want to, but I did feel the initial nudge to do so. It was very hard ….I Decided to Share my TRUTH. My community saved my life, it seemed that everyone I had poured into all these years, turned and poured into me when I was not feeling my strongest. I will tell you this…It unlocked something Very, VERY Powerful! Chains were broken that day! #freedom

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
The story I hope people tell about me when I am gone… really, I would just like for people to tap in to the happy vibrations of the music to help continue spreading that into the world, and in turn, Hopefully it helps the world continue to be a better place ….and to tap in to all of the authentic expressions in my music, touching something inside and supporting heal and love all parts of themselves, even the messy or parts we sometimes try to hide, you are not alone, & You are Worthy of Love, no matter where you’re at on your journey!
