We’re looking forward to introducing you to MOB BO$$. Check out our conversation below.
MOB , really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me is a combination of work, fun, and errands that is 17 hours long. The other 7 hours I am sleeping. I walk 5 miles a day, but I don’t just walk and listen to music. I am making calls and texts for my businesses in this time. Since I live in beautiful San Diego, I am also getting sun at the same time. I do have some office days that I sit in front of a computer for long periods of time but if I am making calls or texts, I prefer to go to some scenic areas like La Jolla Cove, Sunset Cliffs, Pacific Beach or Coranado Beach. In this time, I am of course eating lunch in Little Italy, and make time for weekly beach volleyball, my girlfriend and friends. The key to life is balance. Perfecting time management which I have done is the reason I am able to get so much done in a day.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a musician, and I consider myself the most authentic musician in the game. I sing what I relate to which is everything from growing up in the Underground World of the New York Nightlife Scene in an era where the mob ran the City.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Just a kid from Long Island who loved Baseball.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Absolutely NOT! I would never give up. EVER! The World has knocked me down so many times it is unimaginable, but I get back up and knock what’s in my way out. You knock me down; I get right back up and keep fighting until I knock you down. In business and life, you must have tenacity.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Interesting question. The way I look and my presence on social media is my brand, MOB B0$$. The public me is a successful entrepreneur, musician and Rockstar! The real me is just a kid from Long Island who loves the simple things such as baseball, sunsets and the beach.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
The way you treat people is so important. If you own a business, you need to lift up your staff. You need to just be a person and not a boss. Be understanding and have empathy.
