Today we’d like to introduce you to Anaili Galindo Perez.
Anaili, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My story started when I was a little girl, looking with lovely admiration at models, actresses, and my grandma. The style these women had, was so cool to look at, and I dreamed all the time maybe one day, I could look like them.
Many times, I considered to study something about fashion, in the end, I didn’t, but I’ll always have a passion for the style; I’ll always be the friend that advise what to wear or ask when we go out: how is it going to be the weather? Do you know the dress code? And give unrequested shopping recommendations like “this store is awesome, shop something” or if the store has a sale or share a discount code. I decided to make a new account, a public one and started from the bottom, at first, my idea was that postbynani photos of places, food, sunsets, etc. but then, I say I always dream to become a blogger, so I started posting photos of me or my outfits and I like it, and then girls comment on my photos I like your outfit or so pretty or have a DM asking, where do you buy it? I like your style, do you want to become an ambassador? That inspires me and give me desires to keep going and open my YouTube channel.
My teachers and the people that know me since I was a little kid know that I always like to look good not necessarily with famous brands or with an outfit of thousands of dollars; my style is to feel comfortable because if you’re comfortable, you send that vibe and the vibe and attitude is part of your outfit too but I need to tell you that sometimes, we need to get out of our comfort zone, and have excellent and unexpected results. So, try it and don’t compare with others, feel proud and secure of yourself, go out and rock that outfit, you in your outfit will shine together.
I was that bullied girl, the mean guys bothered all the time because of my tooth, I grew up and my grandfather Oscar (RIP) one day told me: no more tears, let’s go to the dentist! That was years ago, and the mean people kept bothering, but I never let them know they made me feel sad or hurt, then I went to the elementary school and I was a very happy, kind and outgoing girl, so I became popular, yes, how popular I could be? It was a little school.
Not so long after, I was too short for my age, my dad and mom were worried and took me to the doctor and she said that I a shot because I did not produce the growth hormone, so I need to shoot myself every day, and do exercise so…
I first danced, then I went swimming, basketball and finally Track & Field (T & F) which became my favorite sport and my hobby for nine years.
I ended my treatment and I was in race-walking, I went to high school and I had the dream to become a YouTuber but I felt insecure, but I was so happy with my group of friends, it was really the best group of all and we were popular too, but it was not important, we just enjoyed.
Then, I made the most important step ever, that was accepting myself, accept who you are is the most important and essential step in life and sometimes, it changes the perspective that the people have of you.
A few years back, I broke a ligament, so I had surgery and I was forced to stop t&f but after my recovery, I went to the gym, pole fitness training, theater classes, filmed a movie as an extra, opened my YouTube channel and my Instagram, to do what I like the most. I can say that there were situations that made me appreciate life, and I said, I want to have my checks on my bucket list, so I need to move on. I thought I did not want to end with the desire to do something and don’t do it and this is how I am telling you this, thanks to my good and bad decisions, to God, my family and to such beautiful people that believe in me, inspire me, follow me and support me. Those cute people such as Emily from SD voyager who gave me this opportunity… I am now enjoying life no matter what and taking the best pleasure in fashion and looking forward.
I love this industry, it can change the perspective of people and yourself, maybe using another kind of dress or a print. Fashion is something that you look in stores or designers, but style is personal, fashion, your essence and you rock it, and do not have too many rules, style & fashion are inspiration and art from gods. FASHION IS WHAT YOU BUY, STYLE IS WHAT YOU DO WITH IT.
My dream is to become a blogger, where people can get inspiration from for their outfits or clothes, and I will have the opportunity to advise them what to wear or where to buy the dress that I’m wearing or what photo is best to upload, collaborate with brands, have my own brand of cloth or makeup, and assist at fashion events and runways. Now, internet is so powerful, and it’s so cute how the people you do not know send supporting messages or comments, and this is the new age and here we are to spread love and help to each other; there is one quote, that I like to apply in my life “NO BAD VIBES.” The internet is a powerful tool that has a big impact, life it’s the digital reality.
Girls & Boys be you (always) that is a superpower that anyone has.
Life isn’t perfect, but your outfit can be.
Best wishes to all of you guys

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There’s a lot of obstacles on the road to success, a lot of people may laugh at you or envy. They will try to disappoint or make you feel insecure about yourself. That you can’t do it. But don’t let them. Just keep going strong, secure, constant, good mood and love.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with @postbynani – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
Now, I am a university student, a full-time student, I work on my Instagram and YouTube channel but sometimes, in my free time, I work as an administrative assistant in a family business, nanny and as an actress.
I feel proud about proving myself and proving people that if you want it with all your heart and you work for it, you can do it and day by day, you’re going to be closer to your goal.
I think that my personality, character, the way I look at things in life and my essence makes me unique.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts or other resources that you’ve benefited from using?
I think that books can help you to expand your perspectives or handle to see other things, at the same time, movies based on real life. Go to a psychologist or maybe watch TED will help, go to conferences or the religion, I don’t know, to each person, it works something differently. But definitely to me, I think that failures, the decisions I make, the risks I take and the experiences make me better.
