Life and Work with Chynna Cline

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chynna Cline.

Chynna, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’ve always been drawn to photography, whether it was taking pictures of landscapes, people, or random stuff I find beautiful! Just in this past year, I have really started to get serious with my photography. I have found that taking pictures of my friends and strangers have given me a new creative outlook on life and I’m so excited to see where it takes me! I think nowadays is very social media driven, so I have taken that and turned it into something I can use to show off my work, free advertising! I love posting pictures I’ve taken and even more so when people post pictures I’ve taken of them. This year, I plan on expanding my knowledge of photography and hopefully create something beautiful!

Has it been a smooth road?
There is so much judgment on social media nowadays that makes it hard to fully express your creative side, but I try to not let other peoples opinions get to me. I think it’s important to do what you want in life and not worry about what other people will think. Life is too short to hold back any part of yourself, don’t be afraid to go after what you want!

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I specialize in street style/candid photography, it’s defiantly not a typical style of photography. With how the world is today Instagram is where people can grow their brands, where artist get an audience and where pretty girls can post about gummy vitamins and earn a living (lol). I take pictures of people who are trying to grow as a social media influencers, artist or in some cases brands. I find people are in need of the “everyday life” type of pictures. I am the person people call when they have a cute outfit on and they want to go to the farmers market. It’s a strange concept but it has a serious calling.

Who have you been inspired by?
My mom is a huge inspiration to me, she has overcome a lot of obstacles in her life and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without her strength and guidance. She has always supported me no matter how crazy or naïve my ideas might have been. She has always lived life to the fullest and has never doubted herself.
