Today we’d like to introduce you to Frederica Ehimen.
Frederica, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am a Mom, Wife, Blogger, Radio Host, T-Shirt Designer and Quote Maker.
I am a mother of two and have been married to my husband, Gabriel 14 years. I started The Ultimate Life Blog in about 2010, it was designed to encourage people about fashion, and living a happy and healthy lifestyle. I also host a Blogtalk Radio Show, titled ‘Positive Inspirations Radio Show’, where my objective is to have a forum that encourages people to deal with the setbacks and complications that life can and will bring.
I recently went back to school and earned a Master’s degree in Human Services. I really enjoy helping others and feel that I can help so many people in this career choice.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Women have to empower themselves, by embracing the fact that WE can handle anything that comes our way! I have had friends that have faced health issues recently, and I been able to observe how strong WE really are. By emphasizing our commitment to family, and to ourselves, we can make a significant contribution to our world.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Ultimate Life Blog – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
As an entrepreneur, I have learned how to believe in my ability, but to also ask for help whenever I need it! There are people willing to help you, and help is only a phone call or an email away. New entrepreneurs should network, and attend business forums, visit your local library to which enhances your ability to create and build a BRAND that you’re proud of!
What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
If you’re just starting out, don’t expect yourself to have all of the answers right off the bat! Give yourself some time to explore and grow your business. Always, always, always be willing to learn! If you learn more you’ll grow and know more.
