I am a Professional Makeup Artist based in Mesa, AZ with roots in Seattle, WA. Makeup artistry has always been a passion of mine since childhood where I have fond memories of watching my Mom do her makeup every day and loving how she used it to elevate her natural beauty. Makeup is FUN and glam is my jam! I believe every client deserves to look and feel their absolute best for every occasion. To me, there is no better job in the world than empowering clients through what I do and helping them feel beautiful.
I have been blessed to work for a number of top makeup and beauty companies over the last 15 years, starting with MAC Cosmetics back in 2001 and now working my own business as a professional freelance makeup artist. Over my career, I have been fortunate enough to grow and learn in both retail cosmetics, boutique and artistry companies while continuing my education and experience as a professional freelance makeup artist. I have experience in bridal, special occasion, lessons, master classes, styled photo shoots and editorial makeup.
Has it been a smooth road?
When you are working as an artist, especially freelance, it can be challenging to stay relevant and get work especially when you are new. My advice is to find your niche. What are you best at, where do you excel? For me, my work is all about quality, blending and an overall flawless look that enhances my client’s natural beauty so that is where I focus my work. I also highly recommend continuing to learn and grow as an artist! Collaborating with others and taking classes has been highly beneficial because I always learn from others.

I am a Freelance Professional Makeup Artist and I specialize in a variety of makeup styles but most notably bridal, boudoir and special occasion. My aesthetic is modern glam that enhances clients natural beauty. I believe that makeup should enhance, not cover or change someone. I love helping empower clients with their own beauty and making it fun instead of overwhelming or intimidating. My brand is all about quality, consistency and helping people feel their absolute best.
What sets me apart from others is that I offer a personal experience for each client. I do not do the same “cut and paste” looks. I do a full assessment starting with their skin type, tone, a color correction needs in addition to their desired look for their occasion. I also often mix custom blends of foundation, blush and even lip color to get the perfect color for each individual making their experience unique and personal.
Who have you been inspired by?
I am inspired by SO many makeup artists it is hard to pick but I tend to gravitate towards women and artists that are unique and have their own signature style. I am inspired by their creativity and originality and not feeling like they have to conform to traditionalism. I absolutely love following and learning from brilliant creative minds.
