Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaeya Hill.
Kaeya, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I got started with Eshun Designs Co. in 2005. It was the brainchild of a budding talent of jewelry making I had recently learned from a friend.
Early 2006, I launched my debut at a local fair on the island of St. Croix and fell in love with my community and providing them with the gift of creating copper and gemstone jewelry that offers healing to the body and spirit.
During the past 14 years, I have expanded Eshun Designs Co. as an online business, as well as a local business. I currently reside in San Diego doing local pop-ups, and events throughout the community. Offering new collections every season.
My vision is to expand in the SoCal area sharing not only my love for jewelry making but also educating on the benefits of copper and gemstones on the body and spirit.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road! Manifesting a vision takes hard work and commitment. Continuing to push through takes heart.
My most difficult challenge was maintaining my business even after relocating from a hurricane in the Caribbean.
I believe it was my passion to stay true to what I believe is a gift I must share with the world allowed me to rebuild.
My advice is to never stop believing. Believe in yourself and your vision. The rest will come.
