Today we’d like to introduce you to Kassandra Lerma.
Kassandra, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
For as long as I can remember, I have been in love with styling hair! My journey started at California Hair Design Academy where I was able to prepare for my state board testing to become licensed! Throughout my career, I have invested in multiple education courses and classes to stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques. I believe my hard works and dedication has lead me to where I am today.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My advice for women starting their journey would be to always be willing to learn and grow no matter how many years you have been in the industry. Be unique, find your style and perfect it!
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I have been a stylist for over seven years now and I love it just as much as I did when I got licensed. I specialize in color corrections and I gravitated towards this because I love transformations and giving clients their dream hair! I believe my attention to detail, experience, knowledge and years of added education sets me apart from others.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts or other resources that you’ve benefited from using?
The seven habits of highly effective people by Stephen R. Covey is a book that I feel was very helpful and everyone should read!
