Today we’d like to introduce you to Noemi Pulido.
Noemi, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Hmm, I shall begin since I was a young girl around 5-6 years old. I’ve always had such a passion for being in front of a camera. I would do so many things like dance, sing, and just talk and talk and talk I could go on for hours. So, while I was getting older, I found out that filming was my thing. I learned how to edit videos and pictures by myself. So, I decided it was time for me to create a YouTube channel to show everyone what I was capable to do. I now have a channel named “Noemi Pulido” which is about makeup, skin care, and life lessons. I am bilingual, so I also create content in Spanish for all my latinas out there. It’s been almost 3 years since I started and so far it’s been a great experience. From doing DIY’s to face masks from scratch, I enjoy every single moment of what I do.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

It’s definitely been a very bumpy road. Since I did start from zero of not know how to use any kind of editing software. It was a bit hard but hey, we all learn and grow. Everything I know now I have learned it by myself with no help. When I started doing videos I would constantly refresh my page thinking, wow so many people will love this video. But in reality, I didn’t really have any views. I was so sad and bummed out but I told myself I must work harder. I am not giving up and my channel is still spreading its wings but I know my viewers are enjoying my content which now just with a strawberry face mask I did it has almost 5K views! I was so proud of myself and that motivated me to not stop and keep doing what I do. Which proves that you can accomplish anything you want as long as YOU don’t give up. An advice I would give to women starting in their journey either you’re thinking of photography, filming, makeup or anything is to be patient, take it slow, and you’ll definitely get to where you want to be. It’s not always easy and you might want to give up. But think positive and tell yourself I will do it, I will make it, and I am proud of who I am and what I’ve accomplished so far.
Please tell us about YouTube (Noemi Pulido).
I’ve been doing YouTube videos about makeup, skin care, product reviews and so much more in these past few years. While I also do my own video editing and photography. I’ve always been a fan of makeup ever since I was very little and I was very lucky my mom would let me wear makeup or let me put makeup on her. I now do makeup tutorials with products that are very economic to prove you can look beautiful and accomplish amazing looks even if you don’t have the money to be buying all those “fancy” makeup out there. Instagram and Youtube are the main places I focus on. While I upload a video of a makeup I just created, I will post a picture of the makeup on Instagram. Recently, I’ve started creating and learning more about the skin care and what we need to have amazing skin. I make my own face mask as well as exfoliating scrubs using only products that you already have at home so you won’t have to spend a dime. When I do freelance makeup, I love the reaction I get with my clients since they are always in love with the outcome of their makeup. Sometimes, they get surprised at how good they look using colors that they wouldn’t normally use. At the same time, as I do their makeup I explain to them why I do what I do. Why I used that product on them. They love learning new things especially those tips and tricks that not a lot of people knew about.
Who have you been inspired by?
There is two women in my life that have inspired me. My mother and my grandmother. My grandmother became a widow with 13 kids, yes crazy right? While she had to work even harder to be able and provide for her kids she and my mother would also create their own “skin care.” We have such a huge family and we keep traditions that have been passed along for years. While combining my mother’s and grandmother’s tips and tricks have definitely inspired me to let others know of what you can do with so little. One of our family favorite face mask is a strawberry mask. My grandma and my mom would always tell me always make time for yourself. “If you feel your skin is a bit dry and feel like you are breaking out just smash a strawberry and add some honey.” That would help so much! Besides that, it’ll leave your skin so soft it seriously did wonders. They have inspired me so much because even though my grandma had to work extra hard she did what she loved which was create her own skin care such as face masks, lotions, toners and much more. Now, I’m taking over and showing everyone those tips and tricks that are being passed around my family. I enjoy sharing most of their little secrets to help others with their skin care.
