Life and Work with Sally Patti

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sally Patti.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My story seems to be one that changes a lot. The only consistency being travel and creativity. I have studied, worked as a photographer, a stylist, model, chef, had my own vintage store, and run my own restaurant… I have worked in big corporate offices and on hippy farms in California. Always seeking to know what the world holds. I feel like I have been collecting all of these wonderful skills and experiences to channel my real path. Which is coming together but is still very much unknown. I currently live in London, I am from Australia, I have done so many different things but my two real passions are photography and food/herbs. Nature and creativity. There is no start and where I am today changes every day.

Has it been a smooth road?
My advice for women starting their journey is that the journey started the day you were conceived… perhaps even prior. Sometimes, you have breakthroughs and think wow I am really on my path. Then, you look back on that moment years later and realize it was such a small step. The journey is to be yourself. To know yourself, trust yourself, love yourself and follow your heart. Be a woman. This is the real path. Manifest positivity, always believe you can.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with your business – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
I guess I am most well known for my photography. I started in fashion, which I still dabble in today, but I steer myself more towards music. I have fallen in love with documenting, music is my muse. I shoot on 35mm film which you don’t see much of especially at the metal festivals I photograph. I love metal and rock and roll. I find the ego is torn away with a lot of the bands I shoot. I like real people that want to scream and sweat and not care how they look swinging their hair over the barrier of a show. The energy is everything to me.

Who have you been inspired by?
My mum. My friends. My witches. Women are incredible.
