Today we’d like to introduce you to Sandra Buczek.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Sandra. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Well, we have an interesting story. My daughter Nicole graduated from UC Davis after she graduated, she could not find a good job. She approached me and asked if I would be interested in starting a business, I am an artist and I am very creative. She suggested we start designing bridal accessories. I said yes knowing that weddings are part of our cultural makeup. We designed a lot of gorgeous accessories ans attended our first bridal fair in Temecula. The owner of a prominent San Diego wedding magazine noticed our pieces and asked us to join her styling team for a photo shoot. Well, wouldn’t you know it. Our efforts landed on the cover of their magazine. From then on, we had the privilege to styled many looks that were on their covers.
From then on we added coordination, planning and design to our services. We have been fortunate to continue to grow, and we certainly love what we do. We are passionate about what we do, and our clients can sense our passion and becomes contagious. If you comb through our reviews that is a common denominator in our client’s comments, Sandra loves what she does and will give you 110%!
Our model is to make our couple’s wedding day special and one that not only them will remember with fondness, but their guest can enjoy all the special details of an event that has our couple’s signature. Taste and essence of them!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No business is easy to start. You must be passionate about what you do. You have to commit and follow through. You are going to experience a lot of failures, but its all trial and error. You fall but get up, dust yourself off and continue. Nothing in life comes easy, stay true to yourself and do not give up! If you want it bad enough, it will happen. Always be honest and passionate about your craft! Be a team player. It takes a village to create a beautiful wedding! It’s all about us, not I.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
We love to create events that are not cookie cutter. We always like to have details of the couple’s likes and dislikes throughout the whole event. We pay a lot of attention to detail. This is not just a business, it’s our passion! and it shows!
Often it feels as if the media, by and large, is only focused on the obstacles faced by women, but we feel it’s important to also look for the opportunities. In your view, are there opportunities that you see that women are particularly well positioned for?
Yes! Of course. Women tend to share a lot more common sense, and we are able to communicate more eloquently. We are women, hear us roar!
