Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Thompson.
Stephanie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have been a Licensed Esthetician since 2015. I knew I wanted to be a wax specialist since I was in high school, so I started beauty school as soon as I could. During my Esthetician course, I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. She was only a few months old when I became pregnant with my son. Being so close in age is definitely a challenge but with a great support system, I was able to chase my goals and make a name for myself. I have such a passion for making other people happy and feel beautiful. Waxing has been a huge part in my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Having two children is the biggest blessing but also a struggle. Never give up. The sun doesn’t always shine, but when it does, amazing things come with it. Patience is key when striving for success.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I started off waxing my friend’s eyebrows in high school when I was eventually trained to do full body waxing. Just as fine wine, my services get better over time. I now offer full body waxing for women and men, excluding male Brazilians. I use both soft and hard wax depending on a guest’s hair texture and skin type.

Instagram has been amazing to help market myself and services. Booksy keeps my life organized.
