Today we’d like to introduce you to Baxter Colburn.
Hi Baxter, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Photography fell into my lap about two years ago. I was working at a job that needed some photos taken and I volunteered to help out. From that day, there was something special about being the person behind the camera. Fast forward, I now run my own business and have the amazing opportunity to fly around the country shooting photo and video content for businesses and brands. I’m truly grateful for the journey and cannot see what comes next!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest hurdles for me were honestly just figuring out how to properly use a camera to produce high-quality content for clients. Between taking classes and asking good questions and lots and lots of trial and error, I feel in a much better spot now. I’m grateful to have mentors and professionals willing to guide me on the journey.
