Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryce Cady.
Hi Bryce, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have grown up in San Diego and around the real estate business. My Father, Mike Cady, has been an agent in San Diego for 33 years and my brother Trent has worked along his side for the last 10 years. It is a family business.
I have always admired my father’s work ethic of “Work Hard Play Hard” and decided to follow that inspiration while furthering my own career in real estate.
I graduated from Torrey Pines High School in 2014 and graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2019.
I always worked around my Dad and dabbled in some construction and property management during the summers while I was in college. I realized how much I enjoyed seeing the before and after finishes of the homes we were working on and decided to join the Mike Cady Realty Group assisting with the growth of the property management division utilizing my background and skills.
In 2024 I decided it was time to get my real estate license so I could assist Mike Cady Realty Group with Real Estate Sales in addition to property management. I am happy to work along side my father and brother in the family business.
I have implemented a property management software system to help grow the business and am now looking forward to assisting buyers and sellers maximize their goals in the real estate market as well.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No road is smooth and there has been some bumps and challenges along the way.
I was always a people person and loved learning with a “hands on approach” which was why I loved real estate because there was so much interaction with people. It’s so fun to learn things about people and what makes them unique.
The challenge was the school route and it was always tricky for me. School wasn’t a passion for me but I loved the sports so getting through high school and college really tested my perseverance and focus on the future. It seemed I had to work twice as hard to accomplish my goals but in the end the hard work paid off.
Not everyone knows exactly what they want to do after high school and college and sometimes a few detours along the way is not a bad thing as long as you end up in the right place and you can do a job you love so it doesn’t seem like “work”.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I started in the property management division with Mike Cady Realty Group and Coastal Premier Properties. The business needed a software program that could organize the owner and tenant contacts, payments, and billing while preparing for future growth and meeting the industry standards of practice.
Prior to my start the company was still using the traditional pen and paper method and while it was working it was not going to be able to sustain the current trends.
The learning curve was long but the payoff was huge. It is great to have everything and all access in one place. We are ready for the steady growth in 2025.
What sets me apart from others is my attitude in life. I always try to be the best person I can be. I sincerely enjoy helping others whether it is owners, tenants, buyers or sellers. I am happy to assist with the small and larger things needed to make all transitions smooth and successful.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I am easily accessible by phone, email, and social media. I am always happy to talk about real estate sales and property management and all referrals are appreciated. I believe the biggest honor you can get is a referral because that means you have someone’s trust and confidence.
