Today we’d like to introduce you to Cyrus Malik.
Hi Cyrus, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m incredibly passionate about great food, so started visiting local restaurants where I can really showcase their food to City of Los Angeles and San Diego area. In support of these local restaurants, I decided to post their cuisine on my Instagram page and tag restaurant, so locals are aware of their great food.
I’ve received nothing but positive feedback from restaurants owners that how much social media has helped them grow their business even during pandemic.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The entire journey has been pretty challenging however, I’m determine to overcome any obstacles come my way. I’ve been building relationships, collaborating with restaurant owners and food bloggers on consistent bases which helped me immensely overcome many obstacles.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am an Asset Manager for a financial firm and I love my job. I couldn’t ask for anything better! What I’m really known for is that I am a people’s person, who is passionate about everything I do. What set me apart from other is that I go above and beyond and give 100%. because you may not get another opportunity.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
What surprised most people about me is that I have very sophisticated palate. Just in one bite, I can tell you what all the ingredients in the dish.
