Hi DeJuan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Started off getting haircuts from my mother as a child and eventually started to pick up the tools myself. After learning to cut my own hair, I was able to start working with close friends and family. My hobby took me to places I never knew I could go and now I’m settled in San Diego. After years of perfecting my craft, I’m now a licensed barber with a growing clientele. I’m able to give back to the community and take care of the people around me.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not as easy as it seems. Have to stay dedicated and work everyday to perfect your craft. Can’t let doubts keep you from achieving your goals.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a licensed barber. I give haircuts to a diverse group of people. I’m best know for my consistency and customer service. I’m proud to be able to brighten up people’s day and give them the confidence to achieve anything they want. Authentic.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
To not judge and be kind to all. You never know how much of a help you can be for someone.
