Hi Delilah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Goji the mini yorkie joined our home in May of 2021 as a tiny bundle at only 2 lbs. and 4 months old. She came from a breeder in AZ who upon asking for a tiny yorkie, knew she was the one for us! Although she’s extremely lovable, likes to cuddle and is sweet looking as ever, as a tiny 4 lb yorkie, she acts like a Rottweiler or Pitbull at times, using her tiny dominance not knowing how tiny she is! Because she’s super tiny, she gets a lot of attention and gets to dress up or bundle up in her fashion clothes during the cool San Diego nights or winters. We’ve lived in San Diego just over a year and enjoy taking her to brunch, lunch or dinner across the city, joined by other yorkies or tiny dog friends. She’s been to many dog events including Puppy Prom, PAWmicon, Yappy Hours, and some others, but can’t wait to go to more as we continue to learn so much about dog friendly San Diego!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The only struggle I can think of is getting her when we lived in Arizona during Covid and it was a record high of 118 degrees and we were trying to potty train – impssible in that heat!

Goji is named after the band Gojira, which means Godzilla so she certainly measures up to the name. She’s been an instagram influencer since 2021 and has reached over 10K followers due to her cuteness, smallness and at times, funny videos.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Although her dog dad didn’t particularly like dogs, as soon as she joined the home, it was instant love and they were inseparable as playmates, chasing eachother around.
Mom does all the essentials – feed, walks, and everything else!
