Hi Dreshuan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello,
Well, my name is Dreshuan Artis and I’m a roller-skater in San Diego. I’ve been skating for about 10 years. It all started at Skateworld in Linda vista and ever since then I’ve been grooving. I never really got out the house so once my mother finally let me go skating has been a part of my life ever since.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Honestly, nothing is smooth it just depends on how you perceive life yourself. I say it’s been ups and downs, but for the most part smooth. The reason I say it’s been smooth is because roller-skating is a passion of mine, and if you have a passion for something of course it’s going to get bumpy. It’s your passion though so ultimately everything will smooth itself out.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My day-to-day job was a driver for Mercedes, but I’m most known for my roller-skating and just trying to get everyone to catch the smooth vibes I want to produce.

I really just create content through either my Instagram or my TikTok for the people and to give some inspiration
