Life & Work with Jonah Hebel of El Cajon

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonah Hebel.

Hi Jonah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have been doing this ever since I was a kid and wanted to capitalize on my abilities and create dreams into reality.
I’ve been doing this for over 10 years and have experience with many different types of ways to control environments to maintain high end and rare specialty aquatic inhabitants. The passion the flows through my work shows why I am worthy of my experience.
I worked with some of the most knowledgeable people in the industry and have been apart of many different paths that have lead me to the point of owning my own business.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Its never smooth while learning and gaining skills.
Everything comes at a cost when mistakes are made and a lot of the time it comes from your own personal expenses so it makes you a quick learner if you want to succeed

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I maintain, build, and design aquariums, ponds, and water features. Having the skill set to handle imported koi fish from Japan to high end coral reef tanks that have thousands of dollars worth in live stock.
I also specialize in aquarium moving and fish relocations for clients that have larger aquariums.
I offer expert consulting and trouble shooting for all aquatic needs.
Maintenance programs that offer the customer the ability to enjoy their aquatic habitats without the hassle of worrying about keeping it clean and maintenance free on the clients end.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
When you work alone you are more then just the owner. You have to be the roll of every position in the job and also put the work in every day. Its not a 9-5 its a 24/7
