Today we’d like to introduce you to Justine Vargo
Hi Justine, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
About 7 years ago, I was working in the nightclub industry where I was working 9-hour days, and then 5 hours at night – completely overworked and unfulfilled. I realized I was being faced with the daunting question of what to do with my life.
I was always inspired by the idea of working for myself & doing what I truly wanted to do. I was very passionate about design, and found myself wanting to be in some sort of creative space. After years of working in design for the nightclub, I branched out.
I created my business & slowly but surely, I was taking on jobs and creating great relationships with small businesses all around the community. With every challenge I encountered, I forged ahead, transforming my once vague aspirations into a thriving enterprise, proving that sometimes, the most fulfilling paths are the ones we create for ourselves.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
When I began my business 7+ years ago, I was working with a good friend. We were able to build a very successful design and marketing agency all from the ground up.
After a few years in business together, my partner decided she wanted to take a different route, which resulted in us ending our partnership. At the time, I was pregnant with my first child which caused a world of stress for me not knowing where my career would go and/or if I would be able to provide for my family.
This was a huge challenge for me to navigate a new world of business all alone, but I knew I couldn’t give up. I worked harder than I ever have, and was able to rebuild a design business of my own. I’ve been able to create amazing relationships, and work with very notable clientele such as Douglas Elliman Real Estate Group, celebrity esthetician Crystal Koro, LA Laker Jared Dudley, The Sugar Factory, The Oppenheim Group, Superbowl Champion LaMarr Woodley and more.

How do you think about luck?
Luck has certainly played a role in my business’s success, opening doors at just the right moments. However, it’s the relentless hard work, dedication, and passion that have truly driven my achievements and sustained growth.
