Philly based, Laura Cheadle + The Girls are an all girl band spreading joy with their fun Pop/Soul Sounds! Laura Cheadle performs with her powerhouse soulful vocals on stage beside her wife, Michelle Cheadle. They share a lively and energetic performance that enthralls the crowd. The Cheadle’s not only offer a jaw dropping performance, but simultaneously joyfully express their passion to empower women and the LGBTQ+ community.

Philadelphia’s own Laura Cheadle has opened for some of the biggest names in the business and won numerous awards, including “Best Indie Jazz/Blues Band” at WXPN sponsored Tri-State Indie Music Awards. She has performed on stages from NYC to London, appeared on 6ABC’s “Tuned In” as the very first viewer’s choice, the “NBC 10” Show, and the National reality show “Next Great Family Band.” Laura was recently featured in Curve Magazine, named one of “100 Women We Love” in GoMagazine, and declared a “Super Woman” in South Jersey Magazine for her active Charity Work.
As Traveler Guitar’s newest Brand Ambassador and a recent distribution deal with WHO?MAG/Sony Music, Laura Cheadle + The Girls’ debut EP is highly anticipated! Laura and her music is also featured in the Tribeca Film Festival selection ‘They’re Here’. After recently appearing on the CBS show ‘Raid The Cage’ with her wife Michelle, she has become an advocate for strong women and the LGBTQIA+ community. Laura has launched and begun touring with her all girl band: Laura Cheadle & The Girls which includes her wife Michelle, representing equality and encouraging people to be themselves.
Laura Cheadle and the girls have been on a recent national tour around the country including performances at SXSW 2025. Laura and Michelle have also recently competed and won the CBS game show ‘Raid The Cage’ together. They have also opened for/shared the stage with The Jonas Brothers, Sister Hazel, The Spin Doctors, Average White Band, Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals, Kasim Sultan, John Oates/Hall and Oates, Terrance Simien, Peter Tork of The MONKEES, Garland Jeffreys, Constantine Maroulis, Ryan Cabrera, Derek Forbes, The Stars From The Commitments, John Sebastian, Marc Broussard, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Big Freedia and many more.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We advocate for women and the LGBTQ+ community. It’s always a journey being an advocate as an all girl band in the world we live in but we persevere with joyful music.

We just released 3 new singles under Laura Cheadle + The Girls including a brand new Christmas song ‘All The Peace For Christmas’ available everywhere you get your music November 13th! The world needs peace and unity right now and we recorded an acoustic song perfect for the holiday season!
