Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsay Kaye.
Hi Lindsay, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started dancing when I was 5 years old and have been performing all my life. I love to dance, sing, act, and write music. I have my BFA in Dance from George Mason University and have performed internationally in China and Italy.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road. There have been a lot of ups and downs, but I try my best to keep moving forward towards my goals and dreams.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
In December 2024, I performed and danced in “Night of Christmas” at the Rady Shell with Awaken Theatre. Most recently, I wrote and recorded two country inspired songs with Producer, Alex Houton @AHM_Media in New York City that I will be releasing this summer. I’ve also collaborated with Grammy Nominated Producer Jeff Schneewis @lael_official and wrote a single that I will also be releasing this summer! Outside of dance and music, I enjoy creating lifestyle and beauty content and love when I can document and share a good restaurant in San Diego.
How do you think about luck?
I think I’ve experienced a little bit of both. I think a lot of it comes down to being at the right place at the right time and being ready to make the most of the opportunities that arise.
