Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarvesh Ramakrishnan.
Hi Sarvesh, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started back in 2019, as I started my passion for photography. However, I realized that I want to turn this into my side job earlier last year. That is when I started doing commercial photography, portrait photography, and travel photography, turning it into my own creative media agency.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s definitely not been a smooth road. I’ve had to continuously struggle several nights to get leads. My work may sound fancy, but it’s still difficult to try and get photography jobs. However, for ever 200 emails you send out, you’ll get at least 1 job.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a 17-year-old entrepreneur and creative media agency owner that focuses on delivering unique aspects of businesses and tourism through photography. I do travel, commercial, and portrait photography.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with several local businesses and my local airport. I was also recognized by Visit San Diego, TravelOK, 7 international airports, Southwest Airlines, and Mercedes Benz.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts, or blogs that help you do your best?
A book I am reading right now as recommended to me by a relative is the Psychology of Money. The book teaches you about the true value of money and how to avoid letting money take over your life.
It’s definitely a book someone should read to gain a new perspective on wealth and managing cash.
