Today we’d like to introduce you to Sidnev Muldrow.
Sidnev, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started in real estate right after college. My first real estate job was in Florida as a mortgage broker. However, when I moved to CA I got my real estate license, that was over 12 years ago.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been an interesting journey. My first two years in the real estate industry was definitely a learning curve and came to be somewhat discouraging when trying to establish a new network in a new city. Also, when I moved to CA, it was right before the Great Recession. It was then when I first realized everything I learned in real estate has changed. However, with change and adversity comes growth and it made me become a better realtor.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a full-time real estate agent in the greater San Diego area. I specialize in residential real estate. I also strong background working with investors and developers. I was recently awarded 40 under 40 award from the San Diego Association of Realtors in 2020. I think what sets me apart from others in my industry is my exceptional service, knowledge, and experience. I also speak fluent Mandarin.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I luckily had some great mentors and advocates in my life that helped with my success. Andrew Canter is not an only friend but has been a big advocate in my career. He opened a lot of doors for me in my real estate career. He recruited me to his brokerage firm almost eight years ago and it was the best decision I ever made.
