Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatiana Penix.
Hi Tatiana, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I was a little girl, my parents threw amazing parties at our house. I would stand by the door greeting all the guests as they arrived. I loved watching the grown ups all dressed up, with their cocktails laughing and dancing the night away. What can I say, I love hosting parties too. I was 11 years old when I started throwing parties of my own. I would plan the food, decorations and music and my mom to help me make it happen. Many years later after a great career for a corporate company, as a lover for logistics and hospitality, I found myself in love with events again.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing worth doing is easy. Some of the biggest struggles for me were balancing motherhood and being a badass boss babe. There were many sacrifices I had to make through the years, either personally or professionally, that cost me many precious moments. I have learned that my amazing husband and 2 fantastic daughters need to be front and center of my life at all times.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a wedding and event planner! I am a detailed logistics machine with a twist of whimsy creation sprinkled with sweet caring motherly tough love. Hahahaha.
One of my favorite parts of my career is connecting with clients and staying in touch for years to come, watching their families grow. My romantic, whimsy designs really make my wedding clients get that feel of a fairy tale wedding. You know, that moment when your heart starts fluttering right before you walk down the aisle. And then you see her/him. { insert heart eyes emoji }. It’s so magical and precious. That is what I live for.
