Hi Valeriia , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I first took my professional nail courses when I was 17 years old, but even before that I already loved doing manicures for my mom, myself, and my friends. After finishing my courses, I practiced a lot with models and quickly started working as a nail artist. I realized that I was doing it better than many others because I was truly passionate about it.
In 2019, I took my very first student, which gave me the push to grow even faster as both an artist and an educator. In 2022, I competed for the first time in a championship and won four first places right away. Since then, I have participated in many competitions, received a Grand Prix award, and continued to develop my career.
Today, I have already judged at four international beauty competitions, and I am also an ambassador for several professional beauty brands. This journey has taught me that when you dedicate yourself fully to your passion, you can transform it into a career that inspires others.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road was definitely not always smooth. In the beginning, I faced a lot of skepticism — many people underestimated nail artistry and didn’t see it as a serious profession. I also had to invest countless hours practicing on models while balancing studies and work. Later, when I started competing, the pressure was enormous, and I had to learn how to handle both criticism and failure in order to grow.
Moving to a new country was another big challenge — I had to start from scratch, build my reputation, and prove myself all over again in a new market. But these struggles made me stronger, more determined, and gave me the ability to adapt quickly. Every obstacle became a lesson that helped me reach new levels in my career.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a nail artist and creative professional specializing in advanced European/Russian-style manicures and high-end nail artistry. What sets my work apart is the precision, health-first approach, and artistic vision I bring to every design. I focus not only on beauty but also on the science of nail health, combining premium materials and innovative techniques.
I am most proud of being recognized internationally — including earning 3rd place at the 2025 OMC World Championship in Ladies Salon Manicure Design — and serving as a judge at global competitions such as the Global Talent Beauty Cup in Chicago and Los Angeles. These experiences allow me to contribute to the industry both as a competitor and as a mentor.
Beyond competing and judging, I am also an ambassador for several professional brands, which allows me to inspire and educate other nail artists around the world. My greatest passion is helping women feel confident and powerful through the artistry of nails.

I want readers to know that passion and persistence can transform even the smallest dream into something big.
