Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrienne Keiper.
Adrienne, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
After retiring from my management position at UCSD, I took a year off and hosted exchange students for a few years. Then, three years ago, I helped launch Touchstone Crystal by Swarovski in the San Diego area, the direct selling division of THE Swarovski we all know and love, and I’m now only one of a few leaders in our area… an achievement I was able to reach just six weeks after becoming a representative. I love to help women sparkle and have brought the bling to hundreds of women and have helped nearly 50 women start their own business… An accomplishment that makes me sparkle with joy.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Anytime you are trying to start something new, it never goes as smoothly as planned. So yes, there are challenges. As with any business, you have to keep looking for the “new”, keep your customers engaged and stay positive.
Please tell us about your company.
Because of my success in the direct selling industry, a colleague introduced me to this new opportunity and though it is in fact direct sales, it really is my business. This new division of internationally renowned Swarovski has become the fastest growing division of the company and is currently only available in the US. This line truly has something for every woman, every day and every occasion.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Earning the trips, becoming a leader in just 6 weeks and helping women start their own business …. Are all proud moments, of course… But what makes my heart happy is seeing a woman glow with confidence when she adds sparkle to her wardrobe that adds shine to her eyes every single time. That’s what it’s all about.
