Alan, it’s been too long since we last connected. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with our community again. Some readers might have missed our prior conversations, so maybe you can kick things off for us with a quick intro?
My name is Alan Silberstein. I was originally born in Mexico City and moved to San Diego, CA when I was 7 years old. I studied business administration at Chapman University and joined CBD Organics as COO in May of 2019.
What have been the biggest challenges since you first started your businesses?
I would say the biggest challenge has been being able to establish a brand and presence with all the restrictions there are around digital marketing of CBD products. We work hard to make sure our products are of the highest quality, using organic hemp and natural ingredients, and always lab testing everything to ensure effectiveness. We believe that if you make a truly great product, people will find it even if the marketing is more difficult.
Who are you trying to reach/help with your products and services?
Our products can truly help anyone struggling with aches and pains, anxiety or stress, lack of sleep or lack of energy, skin irritation, and more. The majority of our customers are active adults who are on the move and need a natural, healthy, effective product to help them feel their best.
How do you incorporate your products into your daily life?
I use several of our products for many different things. Our goat’s milk soap with loofah is all I use in the shower. Our maximum relief shea butter is great for pain and inflammation that I have after playing a game of soccer or a round of golf, our pain cream with curcumin is great for when I have an actual injury, our entire skincare line helps keep my skin smooth and healthy. And of course, our gummies and tinctures always keep me calm and he[p me sleep so well.
