Hello, my name is Aldo Contreras, the proprietor of Aldo Emmanuel Images. For more than seven years, I have been capturing images that tell stories and evoke emotions. My portfolio began with Lowriders and models but has since expanded to include weddings, quinceneras, and senior portraits.
My photography style is marked by a bold and dramatic aesthetic. I take inspiration from anime-style art and incorporate vibrant colors, contrasting lighting, and dynamic angles into my compositions. However, my ultimate aim is to capture the essence of my subjects and showcase their unique personalities and styles.
I am committed to working closely with my clients to understand their vision and exceed their expectations. Whether it’s a wedding, quincenera, or senior portrait, my goal is to create images that are both visually stunning and emotionally evocative. I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
As much as I love being a photographer, I’ll be the first to admit that it hasn’t been an easy journey. When I first started out, I was simply drawn to the idea of capturing beautiful and striking images. However, the more time I spent in the industry, the more I came to understand just how much hard work and dedication is required to achieve success in this field.
I quickly realized that there is a lot more to photography than just snapping a few cool shots. From learning about lighting and composition to honing my editing skills and building a client base, there are countless hurdles to overcome in order to establish oneself as a truly talented photographer. But even with all the challenges I’ve faced along the way, I wouldn’t trade this path for anything. The rewards of capturing meaningful moments and bringing my clients’ visions to life make all the hard work more than worth it.

What sets me apart from others is my bold and dramatic style, which draws inspiration from anime-style art; I love to use composition and colors to create a mood with my images. One of the things that I really take satisfaction from is being able to keep an open mind and always push my boundaries because I know that there is more to learn.

Wedding photography can be risky for a number of reasons. First and foremost, weddings are live events with no do-overs. There are no second chances to capture the perfect shot or retake a missed moment. This means that a wedding photographer needs to be able to work well under pressure, anticipate potential challenges, and be prepared to handle unexpected situations as they arise. So, every wedding has its challenges but at the end of the day, it is so fulfilling.
