Alexis, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My business is founded through WIT, a teen entrepreneur program that helps teens start up their own businesses. Since I was little, I’ve been interested in making my own company and would sell jewelry to my friends, things like that.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of the difficulties I’ve had are selling stickers online and figuring out how to start off my business. Overall, with the help of my mentors, it’s been fairly smooth.

It is an Instagram account that features desserts, restaurants, hikes, and trendy spots in San Diego. Explor sd includes the healthy, the sweets, and everything in between. To advertise for my business, I sell stickers!
What sets us apart from other businesses like explor is that it is teen led. In addition, for those who are new to San Diego my account is perfect for you!
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Perseverance is the most valuable because even through hardships and obstacles you can still move forward in a positive matter.
