Hi Anais, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
For years, my friends and family had been telling me to start a social media account for my outfits and giving people fashion advice. I always felt like I couldn’t take myself seriously enough for that. I was always the friend helping people shop and get ready for events. After a lot of poking and pushing from friends and family I finally started my LLC SD Fit & Style. I post a lot advice for curating a functional and versatile wardrobe on my social media accounts, but I also offer in person and virtual wardrobe editing, personal styling, and personal shopping services.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The business is always a work in progress. I am a full time school psychologist and a mom, so finding time to build this business has been a huge challenge. However, I always find time for it and it’s an ongoing passion project.

I think what sets me apart from other businesses in this industry is my flexibility. I am willing to work with my clients and meet them where they’re at. Whether it’s a unique request or a budget, I’m here to problem solve.
Lately, I’ve been helping my clients plan outfits for trips and pack, and it’s been a really fun challenge curating looks for every day and event, while fitting everything in a carry on.
I also genuinely love my online community I’ve gained throughout this process. I have become friends with people I’ve met online. A lot of like minded business women who want to grow in this space. It’s the best feeling to get feedback from a client or follower telling me how I’ve helped them achieve some goal or become more confident with their style.
