Meet Angelique Beach of Neatly

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angelique Beach.

Angelique Beach

Hi Angelique, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?

Looking back on my journey feels like retracing steps through a maze of purpose and passion. Ten years ago, I earned a Bachelor’s in Nursing, followed by my Master’s in Nursing. I eagerly embraced the challenges of patient care and thrived on learning, growth, and a strong commitment to improving lives.

But along the way, I started feeling less fulfilled. Despite my dedication, the daily challenges became overwhelming, and the evolving trends in healthcare—increasingly focused on financial aspects rather than genuine patient care—were difficult to support. These changes overshadowed the joy that initially drew me to nursing. It was during this time that I began to question the saying, ‘Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life,’ as it seemed increasingly out of reach for many.

Nevertheless, I revisited this idea, reflecting on my hobbies and seeking inspiration from self-help books and motivational podcasts. Organizing, something I’d always found therapeutic, from re-arranging my childhood bedroom multiple times to organizing my clinic, resonated deeply. I realized this was my calling—I could share my skill for creating order to help others regain control over their spaces.

Inspired by this, I decided to make a change. I combined my attention to detail from healthcare with my passion for organizing. Taking a leap of faith, I left my full-time role as a Nurse Practitioner to start my own Home Organizing business. It was scary to step away from the familiar routines of healthcare and the years I had dedicated to my degrees. I really couldn’t have done it without the encouragement and support of my husband, who cheered me on to take the jump.

With each client finding restored peace in their life, I rediscovered purpose and fulfillment. The joy of helping others through organization revitalized my career. Today, as a Nurse Practitioner turned Professional Organizer, I have gained invaluable experience that allows me to continue improving clients’ lives. It has been the most challenging yet rewarding decision I’ve made, and I hope my story inspires others to find their joy and realize it’s never too late to change course.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would say I have deffinitely felt blessed along the way with doors opening and closing at the right time, guiding me on my journey. But starting a small business from scratch with absolutely zero background or education on how to do it has certainly been filled with challenges. There is of course all the logistics behind it (LLC, trademark, processes, business plan, financials, etc) then there’s the fear of judgment from family and friends, aquaintences. The uncertainty of whether I would succeed, coupled with the fear of rejection and the pressure of not immediately gaining clients. It was difficult to take the leap into entrepreneurship, knowing that others might question or criticize my decision given that I was giving up a “stable career in healthcare”. Overcoming these fears required inner strength and determination to pursue my passion despite external doubts. I received a lot of positive feedback from family and friends showing their support which did honestly help drive my excitement further that this was right where I was supposed to be. With time, I’ve learned to trust in my abilities and embrace the journey, even when faced with uncertainties.

We’ve been impressed with Neatly, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I specialize in offering ‘done for you’ luxury home organizing services. My focus is on creating visually pleasing, yet functional solutions for busy individuals, aimed at reducing stress and bringing serenity back into their lives. Your home should work with you, not against you. My mission is to restore your home to a sanctuary you look forward to returning to each day. I believe in infusing everyday tasks, like opening a drawer, with joy because these moments shouldn’t be dreadful.

I use innovative organizing techniques and products to facilitate this transformation. By helping clients reclaim their time and mental space, I enable them to prioritize what truly matters: work, family, friends, and relaxation. Your space is a reflection of your state of mind, and there are significant mental health benefits to an organized environment.

Additionally, I offer unpacking services for those relocating, remodeling, or moving to a new home. Nobody wants to live out of boxes for weeks or eat takeout off paper plates. I ensure my clients are settled and enjoying their new space within days of moving in.

What sets me apart is my warm personality and empathetic approach to understanding your needs.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
Just that although organizing has been around for several years (there’s even a national assoc. of professional organizers nation wide with a san diego chapter) it seems like the industry is still untapped and I love spreading awareness of how beneficial this service is! The new “thing” will be to have your housekeeper AND your home organizer to keep your life in order 😉

There’s also a lot of financial benefits given that you’re not spending time or resources buying things that you already have (due to not being able to find them)

Pricing:

  • I offer a compliementary 15 minute discovery call to chat about your needs and how we can help!
  • its really dependent on the space and amount of items a client has so I can’t really provide pricing without assessing first
