Today we’d like to introduce you to Aram Grigorian.
Hi Aram, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
Immigrated to the US from Russian in 1989. Watched my parents work 2-3 jobs a piece while growing up for us to earn enough to get by.
Paid my way with student loans through college to get a degree in Econ.
Worked in accounting then finance for 6 years before getting laid off due to acquisition.
Got certified and became a trainer and met a woman who recruited me for a sales job in NYC.
After that sales job didn’t work out, and Indeed.com sales wasn’t a good fit, worked at a deli for almost 2 years while training people after my shift.
Went full-time into training after acquiring enough clientele. Started my nutrition coaching business. Moved to California in summer of 2021. Been basically 95%remote nutrition and a tiny bit of in-person training since then.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next, you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My mission is to transform the body and mind using three pillars: food quality/quantity, exercise intensity/frequency, rest/recovery. I do all this while emphasizing mental health and personal responsibility. I use science and evidence to help teach folks to challenge common societal norms and misconceptions giving them the power to take back their lives. I offer 1 on 1 remote coaching which includes nutrition programming and training programming with weekly check-ins and calls.
I consider myself an outstanding communicator who prides himself on client interaction, connectivity to a process, and results.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
The weather and topography. The population density and parking.
