Today we’d like to introduce you to Bill Thomas.
Bill, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
While I waited until the winter of my life to start this project there is no doubt I would have waited too long, had it not been for you, my family and friends. The first time I visited the Portland Light head Light in Maine, in 2012 in 1996, a chord was struck.
I was in love and in awe of its beauty. I tried them and have continued to try to capture all of its beauty in one photo, each photo. This book was on my bucket list of things to do; as an artist, I have felt a strong need to share this work. I am working on a book on West Coast Lighthouses.
I am currently developing a landscape portfolio for sale online my website is http://billthomasphotos.com;

There is a lot of traveling and planning to various location shoots the road trips has been a learning experience.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Landscape Photographer – what should we know?
I am a landscape photographer and it requires a lot of patience, there are a lot of photographers doing the same thing. The vision of each is different.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The passion to be a good photographer.
