Today we’d like to introduce you to Blythe and Bryan Malinski.
We started with an idea to make a company that could positively influence people. We had a love for the outdoors and admiration for those exploring the wild. We decided to create a company that promoted the idea of going outside to behold and see the beauty this world had to offer. This company would be a vehicle to help people and places in need. With that idea as our backbone, we shortly started to develop a product line utilizing sustainable products to take on the road and showcase our vision in local events and pop-up shops. It has been a slow and steady growth, building a community of like-minded people, expanding our brand’s reach to new destinations.
During the first six months of the development of Behold & See, my husband and Founder Bryan had an unexpected Aneurysm in his Aorta which leads to immediate open heart surgery. Everything was put on hold as he recovered. What was a tremendously scary experience turned into a major blessing, igniting a fire in both of us to ramp up our pursuit of making a great brand. We jumped in with both feet, self-investing in creating a line and taking our idea and putting it into action; but that didn’t mean that we knew exactly how to make our dream a reality. We spent countless hours of research a week, designing our own website, content, and graphics, building from the ground up. Taking our own creative passions in photography, video and graphics to new heights and learning new trades along the way has been exciting for us to explore. A lot of trial and error has gone down trying to find the right materials, work with the right partners, and gain popularity organically by building relationships but we are excited to see where the future takes us.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Behold & See Co. – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Our company Behold & See Co inspires people to get outside, travel and explore the beauty the world offers. We specialize in creating and designing goods that are sustainable and ethical to elevate people’s outdoor experiences.
From premium waxed canvas tote bags, toll rolls, soft sewn beanies, Mexican Heavyweight blankets and sustainable apparel we offer our customer a variety of essentials to brave their adventure while keeping comfort in mind. Building a community of like-minded people to behold and see.
We are grateful for the opportunity to build a brand that we believe so much in. Our desire to positively impact others and the environment while creating goods that are durable enough to carry your story, is what we believe sets us apart.
We both have a passion for ultimately helping others and with our company Behold & See Co, we have been able to travel from Mexico to Colorado and in between. Our last trip to Mexico was in December where we were able to help support children at an orphanage. Something that is close to our hearts and one of the most proud moments of our company. Helping 95 children ages from 4-16 years old receive warm fleece blankets, something that they were in need of. Each year we continue to grow, hoping to make a bigger impact.
We believe be good stewards of the land and take on the open road while giving back. To always be wild at heart.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Things we like most about San Diego are its support of local and small businesses as well as its art, music, and multicultural landscape.
The traffic in San Diego is our least favorite thing in the city.
