Today we’d like to introduce you to Bradford Fox.
Bradfox, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I moved to Calif. in 1978 and worked in Idyllwild, Ca for 13 years before moving to San Diego. I wanted my kids to go to La Jolla High School since Idyllwild only had K-6th grade. I closed my business in Idyllwild and moved to La Jolla in 1990. Built up my business slowly. I got an offer to work in the Harbor Club downtown in 1993 and have been downtown ever since. Mainly doing TI’s in residential condos. I now have 14 employees and a new office.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The construction industry always has bumps in the road but once I found a niche the road got a little smoother.
Bradford Fox Builders – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We are General Contractors. We do everything from flooring to cabinets. We specialize in quality and knowing the rules of working downtown. My employees work hard and respect the owners and their property. 23 Years downtown sets me apart
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
We personally feel successful when our clients are satisfied.
