Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Killian.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Brandon. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started this company in April 2013. My initial reason for starting this business was in hopes of building enough clientele to bring in enough money to pay for my CDs as I’m am a musician myself; as well as to help struggling artist look as professional as possible. Business grew way faster than I had imagined it would, and as I noticed artist asking for more products, I eventually added those products to the business and created a one stop shop.
Has it been a smooth road?
There have definitely been challenges along the way. My biggest challenge was growing the company. I was new to San Diego and knew absolutely no one. This was also a new industry of business for me. I had to teach myself how to work the machines, and learn how to market. After overcoming the challenges, I have grown the business to where it is today.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Payless Prints and Duplication – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I take peoples ideas and bring them to life through graphic design then I take that design and make it into a tangible object; whether that be CDs, flyers, business cards, banners or even T-shirts. I am most proud of how I have maintained and grew my business to where I am now celebrating six years of business. I feel as though my pricing and turnaround time are what set me apart from other businesses in the industry.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
San Diego is a beautiful city in a whole! I chose to do this type of business here because it is an untouched area for the music industry. There is absolutely nothing about San Diego I would change.
