As a realtor, the one thing I hated was putting out open house signs. I would scratch up my car, run across the street like a game of Frogger and I would have done all of this in my best clothes. I just knew there was a service out there to do this for me. Turns out, there wasn’t! I immediately built my website, made a cartoon commercial and purchased an email list. From that, The first weekend I got two orders. The next weekend I got five. Business doubled every month consistently so I had to hire help. I now have a team of 8 drivers that cover from the border up to Temecula.
Soon, I started getting emails and calls for Orange and Los Angeles County. I had to think of a way to expand. Hince, the conception of the Take My Signs Mobile App. We do Flyers and Signs anywhere as long as a driver is registered in the area.
Has it been a smooth road?
Growing pains are real. My biggest task is hiring and training good drivers. I went through a lot of bad drivers that stole signs, disappeared in the middle of orders or even went to the BEACH! I now have a go way to weed out those that are not trustworthy and I appreciate the patience from all my clients.
Tell us more about the business.
Take My Signs currently provides local realtors, politicians and businesses with temporary sign placement and door to door distribution services in San Diego County and Temecula. We do so through processing orders via our Take My Signs mobile app. The objective of the Mobile App is to create a less “Hands on” service on the Administrative side while increasing the quality and efficiency of the experience for the user. I am most proud of the app. I designed and created it from scratch.
The Take My Signs Mobile Application is broken down into three different service types.
Directional Signs: Signs with arrows. This service is for real estate open house signs or new development signs.
Flyers: Door to Door Distribution Services. This service is for local businesses, realtors and politicians.
Promotional Signs: Signs with no arrows. This service is for political signs, local businesses and event promotion.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
As long as people need places to live. My industry will remain steady. I can’t wait to do mass marketing and grow nationwide.

- Flyers Delivery Starts at 34 cents a door (Less than postage)
- Political and Promotional Signs are placed for $1.97 a sign
