Meet Brooke Orloff of Mone Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Orloff.

Hi Brooke, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Thank you for having me back! Mone Wellness grew out of friendship as much as purpose— Dr. Kate (an integrative OBGYN MD.), Coach Sav (a Registered Nurse and Dietician), and I (Doula, Lactation Counselor) were friends long before we became co-founders, bonded by a shared belief in supporting parents through this beautiful, complex chapter. Our individual path ultimately led to this convergence to create a solution to fragmented postpartum care.

New mothers leave the hospital with a baby and a follow-up appointment weeks away, and almost nothing in between. Many don’t know if what they’re feeling is normal or a warning sign. The current system treats postpartum like an afterthought, when it’s actually the moment that shapes everything that comes next.

That’s the belief Mone Wellness is built on: a healthy, fulfilled mother is the foundation for a thriving self, family, and community, and postpartum is when that foundation takes root. So we give mothers the guidance, evidence, and support that the current system fragments or forgets, so no one has to navigate this transformation alone or uninformed.

Today, Mone is live on the app stores (iOS and Android) — ready to be that companion for women and families, right when they need it most.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road continues to be one of obstacles, plateaus, and exciting acceleration. The work of building our network continues: we’re actively forming partnerships with other professionals, clinics, and programs to put Mone directly in the hands of mothers and families. In a world filled with information and stimulation, we work to cut through the noise and be a beacon.

We’ve been impressed with Mone Wellness, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Mone Wellness is the integrative postpartum companion that bridges evidence-based medicine with holistic care. Mone is for mothers navigating a system where care gets reduced to “bounce back” advice and baby-only checklists — because healing happens across the whole self, and it shouldn’t require choosing a side.

Mone is built on three pillars:

Whole-Self Care: Postpartum isn’t just physical recovery. Mone addresses body, mind, emotions, sexuality, and spirit as one connected experience. The personalized content across specific timelines and the mood/energy tracking alongside physical tracking support this.

Evidence Over Everything: Every resource, recommendation, and piece of content is grounded in clinical evidence and vetted by real experts. Guidance a mother can trust is guidance she can actually use.

The Bridge: Mone doesn’t force a choice between conventional medicine and holistic practices. It integrates both, meeting each mother where she is, and connects her to a real, continuous support network along the way. The app serves as a bridge between discharge and postpartum appointments.

Mone Wellness is the postpartum guide built by women’s health experts who live it — OBGYNs, RNs, and RDs — delivering evidence-backed support for women, without the trends or the noise.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
There will be roadblocks. There will be days you question why you’re doing this at all or how you will continue. But if there’s still a whisper inside telling you to keep going, tune into that, and quiet the rest. Being a bootstrapped, founder-funded, and founder-operated business has its own challenges, you have to wear all the hats and learn how to do things you’ve never done before. Stay committed, but don’t be afraid to ask for help or seek out the assistance of others when you need it.
