Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryan Velazquez Rocha.
Hi Bryan, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started making music at home with a close friends of mine we put our money together and bought studio equipment. Ever since then stuck with it. I never went to school for music ever in my life I studied off YouTube and trial and error. Spent a lot of time just making beats by myself until I started making my own sounds I’ve always loved music to me I feel music more then I listen to it .
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It took me almost 5 years to start seeing any time of improvement,It’s never a smooth road I’ve been very lucky to find like minded producers as my self shout out to Jakob John , 88thegang ,fooliegetitgroovy, Afro, kevg, castelo beats. My music really elevated once I started coming around other that were in the same field as me. It’s one thing to make beats in a room it’s different once you start coming to studios and really putting in that foot work networking and having conversations/ collaborations.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My specialty is in beat production and I love percussion and drums I just steps into the audio engineering world and I love it learning something new every day I’m in the studio working .
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
In anything you wanna do it’s important to keep a good attitude healthy life style which isn’t easy in the music business. It could get discouraging at times but you just gotta push through and believe in yourself that’s the most important thing.
