Meet Carol Neyenesch-Bentley of Neyenesch Printers in Little Italy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carol Neyenesch-Bentley.

Carol, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
In 1899, William Neyenesch opened a print shop in the basement of the Hotel del Coronado. After a few location changes, including the U.S. Grant Hotel, the company has been in its current location since 1959, 119 years later, Neyenesch Printers is still owned and operated by 3nd and 4th generation family members.

Simply put, we are printers. Neyenesch has spent the last century or so learning all there is to know about the art of printing and we use this expertise daily.

The Neyenesch family has a tradition of supporting the community that supports us. We are actively involved in San Diego creative organizations like the AIGA, SDX and Creative Mornings. We’ve partnered with TEDx San Diego, San Diego Youth Symphony, the EOD Warrior Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Vida Joven de Mexico and many other local charitable organizations. We are proud of the small role we play in making these organizations successful.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
With a 119 year history, of course there have been a few bumps in our journey, Depression, recessions, ever changing technologies to name just a few. Yet, more than a century later, we are still thriving! Our commitment to our clients, our community, our employees and to print is timeless.

Neyenesch Printers – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
