Thanks for sharing your story with us Cesar and Amelia. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
A few years ago, I was separated from my eight year old son. He lived with his mother and my ex wife in America, and I was stuck in Brazil waiting for my chance to finally move closer to be next to him and experience the American dream. It was extremely difficult being away from my child, but I knew that with grit and patience one can achieve anything. I knew that I could save enough money to finally come to America and start a new life with my son by my side. I knew that I could achieve anything if I continued toward my goal every day.
When I finally moved here, it was a dream. I was finally next to my son and I could not imagine my life becoming better. Until I met her. Amelia. My now business partner and fiancee. I never thought I would meet such a beautiful woman who’s looking were no match to her brain, and not only was she all of that, she was also so spiritual and genuinely cared about humanity and the earth. We shared similar interests – marketing, business, entrepreneurship, sustainability, humanity, peace, and on top of all that a spiritual connection that is indescribable to this day.
From that love, we transformed into a power couple that wanted to take our vision and change it into a reality. We wanted to help change the business world because we believe that with the action we can create meaningful change in the industries that need it most.
This desire for change led us to create BrandChameleon. It is a Sustainable Marketing Agency geared towards disrupting the business industry and creating a global impact. If you don’t know what Sustainable Marketing is – It is the use of incorporating sustainability into your business’s marketing and branding strategy. Using sustainability as a business and/or marketing strategy is on the rise to becoming the only way to build a successful company that consumers and potential partners want to listen to and work with. More and more CEO’s, executives, organizations, and business owners are on the path towards massive growth for their company and the world by incorporating these strategies into their businesses.
Not only were we able to create something that has the potential to better the environment and the world, but we were able to follow our entrepreneurial dreams and incorporate everything we know about the business into one thing. For us, and for me, we are living the American dream because we decided to take action and go for it. We put our foot in the door, regardless of our circumstances. She broke the glass ceiling, and I broke the immigrant stigma. We can all be successful if we are willing.
Has it been a smooth road?
A smooth road is not possible, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t manageable. Even in the difficult days, when work can seem consuming, our motto is to always do the best we can for that day. When you start a business there are a lot of things you need to take into account. You need to pick your niche and stick to it. If you start a business with no niche, you will fall away and get lost in a market with too many competitors. Be unique, you need a strategic plan for your business to flourish.
Our biggest struggle was pulling off the bandaid and just doing it! Usually, when you are scared of change, or of putting yourself out there, you make excuses and you hesitate. Don’t hesitate. It is worth every second. The struggles become lessons, and if you aren’t learning lessons then you aren’t evolving as a human or as a company.

We’re a sustainable marketing agency. Our niche is sustainability. Our goal is profiting not only businesses but the world. We’re proud of this because it is something that is aligned with who we are as real people, and that is so important.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
It’s hard to have any dislikes about San Diego, but maybe one of the dislikes would be the traffic during the week! Can we just get off of Del Mar Heights Rd easily one day? Impossible. I have to say that I love the energy of San Diego and how every area from North County to Downtown has a different vibe. The people are friendly, there is so much focus on sustainability here and the focal point is a healthy lifestyle! What more could you want?
