Today we’d like to introduce you to Chance Wonder
Hi Chance, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My career in aesthetics really did save my sanity. I was born and raised in central Pennsylvania where I studied to become a Trauma Surgical ICU Registered Nurse. I worked as a Trauma Nurse for 2 years before the pandemic hit, and I saw it as my way out of PA. I had always dreamed of a life in sunny Southern California. After bouncing around as a travel ICU nurse during peak pandemic I found myself so burnt out, struggling with severe PTSD symptoms. We were rewearing masks, trash bags for gowns at some points, and even stacking bodies in trucks behind the hospitals as hospital beds were in extremely high demand. At the beginning we all walked into our patient rooms not knowing what would really happen to us. But growing up I was always very big into painting and drawing, so aesthetic medicine was a natural obsession for me. So when I finally got my break into aesthetics I ran as fast as I could. I have learned so much from so many amazing injectors over the years. I have injected in some beautiful places like Beverly Hills, La Jolla and Huntington Beach. I specialize in facial balancing with neurotoxin, fillers, sculptra and more. When starting Wonder Aesthetics I partnered with a Dentist, Dr. Tracy Taddey who offered space in her gorgeous ocean view location! When I am not seeing patients in beautiful La Jolla I am injecting in Hollywood at a dear friends spa called Heaven on Sunset right on Sunset Blvd.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being an Aesthetic Injector is a lot of fun but it is definitely a full time + some type of job. Owning my aesthetic business and growing it as a small business I schedule/book, do all of the marketing, before and afters, set up/clean up, answering messages, constantly making content and more. To be a really good injector you definitely have to be passionate about botox and filler.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in facial and neck rejuvenation and harmonization through neurotoxin, fillers, sculptra, microneedling and more. I am known for facial balancing and making all facial features balanced with each other! I am obsessed with my job because I really am obsessed with science at the same time as sculpting and art. I just so happen to be music obsessed as well so my instagram is flooded with whatever I am listening to at the time.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I love making people feel more confident. What I do really helps people mentally. Loving how you look really boosts the confidence.
