Meet Christina Bombay

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Christina Bombay. Christina was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Renata Terra Lutz.

Christina, can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’m a Registered Nurse and mama of three. I became a nurse in 2010 and started my nursing career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. All of my nursing experience has been working closely with families – educating and supporting them. I love teaching new families how to care for their sweet babies. After having my third child, I couldn’t see myself going back to doing shift work at the hospital, so I decided to start my own business. I wanted to have a flexible schedule, while also being a present and available mama to my kids. So, I started The Mama Coach. As a Mama Coach, I am able to continue my passion of serving families and guiding them through the difficult parts of parenthood.

I loved being in a role where I could support mothers and their babies during such a critical time. The experience gave me deep insight into the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of childbirth and early motherhood. However, I often saw that once families left the hospital, they felt a little lost. The transition to home life with a newborn can be overwhelming, and many new parents, despite all the preparations, would experience stress, anxiety, and uncertainty about how to bond with their baby or how to meet their needs effectively. I wanted to bridge that gap. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to combine my nursing expertise with my passion for family-centered care. Now, I’m fully immersed in supporting new families, and it’s become the most fulfilling part of my career. Every day, I get to help parents gain confidence and find joy in those early moments of parenthood.

Please tell us more about your brand, The Mama Coach
I am passionate about empowering new families through education and support during one of life’s most precious moments—bonding with their newborns. As a registered nurse, I bring a wealth of medical expertise combined with a deep understanding of the emotional and physical needs of both parents and infants. Every family is unique, and so is the way they bond with their baby. I provide tailored advice and support, focusing on what works best for each family. Whether it’s guidance on breastfeeding, skin-to-skin contact, or understanding newborn cues, we offer personalized attention that goes beyond generic parenting advice. As a healthcare professional, I ensure that all the education and techniques I share are grounded in the latest research. This gives families peace of mind, knowing they are receiving safe, effective, and trusted guidance. My focus is not just on the baby or the mother, but on the well-being of the entire family. I help new parents navigate the emotional and physical challenges that come with having a newborn, offering practical solutions and emotional reassurance. What makes me most proud of my business is seeing the confidence and connection grow in the families I serve. Watching parents develop a deep bond with their baby, knowing I played a role in helping them feel empowered, supported, and prepared, is incredibly rewarding. I aim to make those early days of parenting a joyful and fulfilling experience, giving families the tools they need to thrive together. My hope is to make parenthood easier!
