Meet Comedian Nazareth of Corona, CA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Comedian Nazareth

Hi Comedian, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I lived in the Middle East until the age of 19
Moved to the US to attend University of Toledo.
Moved to Southern California to escape the snow
Ran the Los Angeles Marathon and when I finished it I asked the question: “What do I want to do in life, that I can do to the best of my ability, even if I never get paid for it?”
The answer was: I wanted to make people laugh.
The next Day, I signed up at a comedy club in the Valley north of Los Angeles.
Became one of the new faces at the Improv. comedy club.
Worked with B.B, King and the Temptations.
My first show for a corporation was for Waxie company on Hotel Circle in San Diego
I performed for Corporate Christmas event for Qualcom.
I performed at the Improv Comedy club in San Diego (no longer there)
I always did free shows at Homeless shelters, Police officers and Fire fighters (did one for the San Diego Police two years ago).
I rented the Delmar Race Tracks, at my own expense, to do a free comedy concerts for people who cannot afford to pay for a concert or a comedy club fees.
I love San Diego and do several events at churches and non-profit galas in San Diego.
Last year, I rented the Kroc Center in San Diego and put on a free event for the Salvation Army in San Diego.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The first 10 years were hard financially. Few months after I got married, I lost my day job and committed to doing comedy full time. I’m glad I did.
Having to survive the economic crash in 2008-2009 and the Pandemic 2020-2021.
Doing a 100% clean comedy in a market that promotes dirty material and vulgar language.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a Standup Comedian
I specialize in doing comedy that is appealing to Corporate, families, churches and anyone who loves clean comedy.
I’m known for putting on free comedy concerts for hurting people and less fortunate people.
I’m most proud of the way I balance my tours, career and raising my family.
What sets me apart from others is that my comedy in inspiring, encouraging and leaves the audience with hope.

What were you like growing up?
I was the guy that made fun of the class clown.
Very insecure and used my comedy to fit in.
I always loved people and loved meeting new people.
